This week in New York, the team and I had the pleasure of hosting two of my favorite people in business and media — Salem Media’s Chairman and CEO David Santrella and my good friend and energy partner Lou Basenese. We gathered at La Tête d’Or for what became a celebration of an incredible year — one where our shared mission has been simple but vital: reminding America that fossil fuels aren’t our foe; they’re our friend.

That dinner — one of the best of the year, I might add — actually cut my participation short at The Breakers in Palm Beach, where I was attending a major energy conference. And what a conference it was. I’ve long advocated for nuclear energy as the ultimate in clean, reliable power. But even I was blown away by what I heard: news of an enormous uranium deposit and the breakthrough potential of small modular reactor technology that could redefine how America powers its future.

The second night of the conference — which my better half and I were able to attend together — was graced by the presence of America’s First Son, joining us for an elegant and inspiring evening.

Afterward, Aimee and I slipped away to explore The Breakers’ hidden corners, wandered the seawalk under the stars, and toasted the night with a flawless espresso martini.

The next morning, we boot-and-rallied for an unforgettable brunch at Sant Ambroeus — which you can read all about right here in this issue. It was indulgent, unhurried, and the perfect finale before racing back to New York.

Back home, real life came rushing in. My daughter dazzled in her school’s “circus,” performing on stilts no less, while I dove headlong into producing this weekend’s TV edition of That KEVIN Show. In between, I made guest appearances on both Craig Huey’s and Hannah Keeley’s podcasts — because apparently, sleep is optional when you love what you do.

And speaking of this weekend — don’t miss it! Donald Trump Jr., Hans von Spakovsky, Ambassador Carla Sands, Jack Ciattarelli, and the incredible Anne Wilson made for a powerhouse lineup on That KEVIN Show.

Before I sign off, I have to say how delighted and impressed I continue to be with our newest sponsor — MedJet. For memberships that start around $99, we’re able to protect ourselves with evacuation assurance that would otherwise cost $100,000 to $200,000 — and never receive a bill. It’s remarkable peace of mind, especially for those of us constantly on the move. You can learn all about it, how it works, and read incredible firsthand stories of lives forever changed at MedJet.com/Kevin.

Finally, keep an eye out for details on our 2026 trip to Italy, retracing the best of this year’s journey through Rome, Sorrento, Positano, and Amalfi. Until then, make sure you’re subscribed and catch my latest culinary adventures in the column — where food, travel, and friendship always come with a generous pour of joy.

Until our next adventure!
