Hunter Biden made a revealing argument about the Democratic Party's strategy against President Donald Trump — and Alex Marlow says the comments expose what the party's different factions ultimately have in common. Appearing with Miles Taylor, Hunter Biden argued that defeating Trump's allies is an “absolute necessity,” saying it doesn't matter whether the Democratic candidate is James Talarico, Abdul El-Sayed, Zohran Mamdani or someone else as long as that candidate opposes Trump.

Marlow reacts and explains why he believes the comments reveal the larger strategy behind the Democratic Party's competing political brands. Marlow also breaks down Abdul El-Sayed's defense of Hasan Piker during an appearance on The Breakfast Club. El-Sayed rejects what he calls an attempt to “cancel” Piker, says Piker doesn't speak for him, and identifies several issues on which the two agree — including El-Sayed's characterization of Trump as a “fascist.”

Plus, Marlow examines James Talarico's faith-centered campaign messaging, arguing that the Texas Democrat represents a dramatically different presentation of progressive politics even as many of the underlying policy alliances remain.
