When the new Congress convenes on Thursday, many of the newly elected female members are bringing with them an anti-Trump and far-left agenda.
Among them are Rashida Tlaib from Michigan, who is a Muslim woman, along with Minnesota’s Ilhan Omar.
Tlaib is a member of the Democratic Socialists of America along with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York who has made headlines for some rather uneducated remarks.
Katie Hill, from California, is a bisexual woman who says she cried when Trump was elected.
Angie Craig from Minnesota is married to a woman and is an advocate of unions, Planned Parenthood, and climate change.
Deb Haaland of New Mexico is described as a lesbian and Native American.
And, Sharice Davids of Kansas is the first openly gay Kansan elected to Congress and was a fellow in the Obama White House.
