New polling shows that Democrats are still not in sync with the concerns of most Americans. The Daily Caller reports a new Gallup poll finds Americans see “government” as the biggest problem facing the country followed by immigration.
Gallup polled Americans on 13 major issues facing the nation, with 19 percent saying that government was the biggest problem, followed by immigration at 16 percent and “unifying the country” in third place at 8 percent.
Healthcare, commonly touted by Democrats as the biggest issue facing Americans, came in a distant sixth place with gun control at the bottom of the list.
President Trump got elected on promises to “Drain the Swamp,” and secure the border and Gallup’s new poll suggests that Americans are still prioritizing those issues.
