1. Between Borders

This particular Christian film is basically about the persecuted church and a family of immigrants who flee from Azerbaijan and Russia to America because their lives are endangered. The deeply moving story touches on how they believe communism failed them and their fellow countrymen, and while they didn’t choose to be born into communism, they did choose a relationship with Jesus.  It’s based on a true story and will fan the flames of American patriotism and gratitude for God’s blessings in your heart. Between Borders releases into theaters starting on January 26th, 2025, according to FathomEvents. You can check out the trailer here.

2. The Unbreakable Boy

It would seem life has been unfair to a young boy named Austin, who not only has autism but also a rare brittle bone disease. However, in spite of his physical challenges and even some of the cruelties of others, he has an amazing ability to respond with humor, find joy in life, and live life to the fullest. These characteristics are why his father refers to him as someone with an unbreakable spirit. The Unbreakable Boy is also based on a true story, and it will be released into theaters starting on February 21st, 2025, according to the IMDB. To view the trailer, click here.

4. Homestead

This Christian movie is doing extremely well, and while it has already been released, it may very well make it into 2025, according to Christian Film Blog. Perhaps the reason it’s doing well is that its plot hits on a secret fear in the hearts of many Americans right now. Though the plot is a heavy story about a nuclear bomb hitting the Los Angeles area and society devolving into rapid chaos, there’s an interesting faith-based element about a community of preppers who had previously pulled together in anticipation of something like this. They wrestle with the dilemma of those outside the sturdy walls and gates of the community who were not prepared and are desperately begging for help from those who took the time to store up supplies. 5. Bonhoeffer: Pastor. Spy. Assassin

Though this Christian film was released into theaters last month, it’s another one that’s doing really well, according to Christian Film Blog. If you can’t make it to the theater before its run ends, it will be worth streaming, for sure. The story is about the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer, who lived during the days of the Nazi regime and was very much against Hitler’s murder of the Jews. Though his vocation is that of pastor, he finds himself pulled into a plot to assassinate Hitler. You can view the trailer here.
