Dr. Fauci praises Brad Pitt's portrayal of him on "SNL"

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, praised Brad Pitt's portrayal of him on last week's episode of Saturday Night Live.

During the opening skit of Saturday Night Live, the Oscar-winning actor Brad Pitt made a brief appearance on the sketch show and played Dr. Anthony Fauci. In the short video, Pitt's version of Fauci helped to clear up some "misinformation about the virus."

At the end of the video, Pitt removed his wig and praised the real doctor and "the medical workers [and] first responders and their families for being on the front line."

When asked about the performance, Dr. Fauci noted that he thought Brad Pitt "did a great job." He added, "He got the raspiness of my voice right. He got the hand movements right... He was really very funny."
