Judicial Watch announced today that it has filed an ethics complaint calling for a full investigation into potential crimes tied to allegations that Rep. Ilhan Omar may have married her biological brother.

In a letter to the Chairman of the House Office of Congressional Ethics, David Skaggs, Judicial Watch notes “The evidence is overwhelming Rep. Omar may have violated the law and House rules” and urged the House to urgently investigate the allegations of wrongdoing by Omar.

The complaint claims Omar’s conduct may include immigration fraud, alleging that it appears Omar married her brother in order to help him immigrate to the United States.
